Is there life after death?
One of the close followers of Jesus Christ named John wrote down in his memoirs chapter 14, verse 2 + 3 of the bible, that Jesus said to his dedicated followers, "I'm going to prepare a place for you. Later, I will come again to receive you to Myself so that where I am, there you may be as well."
So, who is Jesus Christ?
Let's start at the beginning.
Ancient writings have been gathered together into a book that is known as the Bible. From this we can know that the birth of Jesus was predicted thousands of years before it happened. It was predicted He would become the savior of mankind. His birth happened approximately 2000 years ago. He was born by a woman who never had sexual relations with a human; the pregnancy began in her by the power of the Holy Spirit of God Almighty.
The Bible proves to us that,
Jesus came as both man and God at the same time.

In order to be saved, there has to be "something" from which we need to be saved; and that "something" would be ourselves. We know that the first person created by God Almighty failed to live up to God's will. That rebellion of mankind had a penalty to be paid.

Also, there had to be "someone" to do the saving for us. Mankind is incapable of fulfilling the penalty that keeps us separated from God's good graces.
Then came "Jesus".
